FAQs
-
We primarily serve neurodiverse teens (12+) and adults who have ADHD or on the autism spectrum - or both! We also offer support for their people. This includes partners, parents, caregivers, grandparents, siblings, friends, educators, employers, and anyone else who cares about a neurospicy person.
-
In our virtual one-on-one sessions, our mentors work with you to identify and realize your personal goals, overcome executive functioning struggles, build relationships, and achieve independence. You are in the driver’s seat!
-
Our sessions are confidential - what happens in session stays in session. The only exceptions to this policy are when someone threatens to harm themselves or others or if we become aware of child or elder abuse or neglect.
-
We use a HIPAA-compliant version of Zoom or Google Meet for our sessions, depending on the coach and where you are located.
If applicable, please log in to Google Meet in advance of your first session to ensure that your video and audio are working. Here is a link to audio/video settings for Google Meet: https://support.google.com/meet/answer/10409699?hl=en

We unequivocally trust the scientific evidence supporting the safety of vaccines, and we believe that vaccines do not cause autism.
We also respect every individual's right to make their own health decisions. We provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment for all clients, regardless of their personal choices regarding vaccinations.

Asperger's Syndrome has been reclassified in the DSM to be included on the autism spectrum. We understand and share the concerns many have about Dr. Asperger and his unethical experiments on children during the Nazi era.
We support each individual's right to choose the label that feels most accurate and comfortable for them. While some may believe that those identifying with Asperger's Syndrome are trying to assert superiority over others on the spectrum, we believe that everyone has the right to identify with the terms that best describe their personal experiences and diagnosis.
Whether you identify with Asperger's or another term on the autism spectrum, we respect and honor your choice and are here to support you.

Person-first language emphasizes the individual before the diagnosis (e.g., "person with autism"). While some find this language respectful and affirming, many feel it separates them from an integral part of their identity. Most adult autistics prefer identity-first language (e.g., "autistic person"). Robin identifies as autistic, AuDHD, or autist, and she strongly identifies with fun phrases like "neurospicy" and "the 'tism".
We honor and respect each person’s preference and support the use of the language that they find most empowering and appropriate.
